Typically these employees work on-site at a company’s office location. In contrast, the software development work completed through IT outsourcing is typically completed off-site. Although the software developers completing the IT outsourcing work may still participate in regular meetings, ongoing communication, and occasional face-to-face meetings, depending on the project and the client needs.
